Chloe and Luke’s Grandma Jan came from Michigan for a visit last week. The kids had fun showing off their new tricks and playing with Grandma.

Today Luke turns 9 months old. He is creeping/crawling everywhere now. He occassionally can get up on all fours but prefers to army crawl because he is faster that way. Just recently he started pulling himself up on things so he looks like he’s kneeling, and twice now we’ve seen him pull all the way...
Better late than never, right? We spent New Year’s Eve with some friends and one of them just sent me a picture of Luke from that night. He went to bed just fine but then woke up to all the noise at midnight and joined our party.
Yesterday we got our first real snow of the season, and Chloe jumped at the chance to play outside in it. She built a snowman with Daddy and had fun using her shovel in the snow as well. Toby and Luke had a good view of the fun.
The other day I introduced Chloe to finger painting. For most of the time she dipped in one and only one finger to the paint to do all her work. Finally, as we were getting ready to clean up, I persuaded her to get her whole hand covered in paint to make a handprint. She...
