No Baby Yet

We’ve been here a little over ten hours now and are still waiting. I got an epidural around noon after the contractions got pretty painful and my water broke on its own around three. They’ve just upped my dose of pitocin so now we wait. Hopefully we’ll have more for you this evening/night

The Longest Shortest Night

You’d think a night that ends at 3:45 a.m. would pass quickly…but oh, no. First, I couldn’t fall asleep. Then, when I did, I woke up about every twenty minutes or so. Finally, the time is here. We’re on our way to the hospital

38 Weeks

Caught a little unawares, the kids cuddled up on Janna today. She rarely rests so it’s a sure sign that Baby Boy must be on the way.

Caesar’s Creek

Thinking it was supposed to be nice today, we headed to Caesar’s Creek for fun at the beach. It rained just a bit and then was cloudy and windy (and not so warm), but we managed to have fun building sand castles, having a picnic lunch, and enjoying family time together.
