So, it is no secret that I, a girl with pin-straight hair, have no idea how to manage curls. I’ve done my best with Chloe’s beautiful curls but often was frustrated by how frizzy her hair would get by day’s end. I mentioned this in passing to my sister-in-law over Thanksgiving. Little did I know that this would lead to some serious investigation on her part as to how we could best care for curly girl hair
All in all I now have special shampoo, conditioner, and product, as well as a diffuser … all for my four-year-old! To make this all work Chloe needed a hair cut. It was her first time ever to get her hair cut by someone other than Mommy who had only trimmed it three times in those four years. She took it very seriously and did a great job. Of course we know she is beautiful no matter what, but I am excited to see her beautiful curls well taken care of. So, here are a few shots of the experience. (Thanks for your help with all this Rachel!)

Cherie - It looks fantastic! As a curly haired mama of a girl with straight hair, I can relate to your struggle in inverse.
Michelle - Looks great! I bet she felt all grown up going to a salon! Haleigh wants her hair short “like mommy’s” but I told her not until after basketball…ponytails are just too easy!
Grandma Jan - Every girl’s dream, color and curls, beautiful!
jennifer j - It looks really good! And she looks so serious and grown-up in the first two pictures!
