Pray for our baby…

The week before Easter Levi got his first ear infection.  He was on amoxicillin for ten days but the ear infection didn’t go away.  So a week later I took him back to the doctor where he was put on Augmentin.  Day five (out of ten) of Augmentin was Tuesday.  At five p.m. on Tuesday we noticed a few bumps on Levi’s neck.  Two hours later they had multiplied and spread.  I took him to the doctor that night where I was told he was having an allergic reaction to the penicillin (an ingredient in both drugs named above).  I was told to give him Benedryl and wait it out.  The next morning when he woke up it had spread even more, now his entire tummy and much of his back was red.  This morning when he woke up his entire face was covered.  So, we’ve been to the doctor for three straight days now.  Also today he started running a fever.  So now he’s back on different meds for his ear infection (which is causing the fever) and still on Benedryl for itchiness and Tylenol for fever.  The official diagnosis is Eyrithema Multiforma but even that is not for sure.  The doctor said it could take 2-3 weeks to be gone completely.  But still we wait.  So, please pray for Levi.
