After nine days on Amoxicillin for an ear infection, Luke started showing signs of an allergic reaction. The next morning I took him to the doctor where my suspicions were confirmed (you may remember Levi had an allergic reaction to penicillin a few months ago, click here to see the post about that). The following morning the reaction had flared up even more. Our poor little man didn’t want to move, all his joints were sore and swollen, hives covered him, and he was itchy. Now, on steroids, Benedryl, and Motrin, he seems to be doing a bit better. Here are pictures of him this morning. How sad.

Janna, these pictures make me tear up! I saw your status on FB last night and I’ve been praying since then. My prayer is that, by the time you read this comment, Luke will be back to his normal and happy self.
